Knife gate valve can be divided into three types according to the connection method, butt connection, flange connection and lug connection. According to the diameter of the knife gate valve, the bearing pressure is from PN16-PN2., Knife gate valves are mainly used in papermaking, chemical fiber, petrochemical, metallurgy, mud, electricity, sewage treatment. In pharmaceutical and other working conditions, the knife gate valve is mainly composed of a valve body and a gate. The material of the valve body is ductile iron, carbon steel and stainless steel, and the sealing surface is made of natural wear-resistant rubber, fluorine rubber, nitrile rubber, and EPDM rubber. And metal sealing, from the structural point of view, the knife gate valve has a compact design, takes up little space, and can effectively support the strength of the pipeline.
Knife Gate Valve is used on industrial pipeline for on-off operation. The structure of body and seat eliminates clogging shutoff for flow with fine particles. Features:
1. Body:
a) Integral body with full bore structure ensures smooth flow, easy assembly and smaller shell leakage possibility.
b) Guide claws design at the port bottom for gate fixture, instead of a groove, eliminates any potential clogging when valve shutoff.
2. Gate:
a) Beveled knife edge provides strong cutting stress and tight sealing.
b) PTFE resilient point guider above the port prevents metal-metal contact between gate and body.
c) Gate thickness can be increased to meet higher pressure.
3. Seat:
a) Side-entry seat is replaceable, reducing the cost of maintenance.
b) Preloaded seat is adjustable to meet different sealing class and compensate normal seat wear.
4. Other:
a) Double thrust bearing minimize the torque required for operation

The bottom of the gate is a U-shaped sharp blade, which can scrape off the adhesive on the sealing surface and quickly cut off the fluid. medium
2. The surface of the gate has been finely ground and polished, which not only has a better sealing effect, but also effectively protects the service life of the packing and valve seat.
3. The guide block on the valve body makes the gate move correctly, and the extrusion block ensures the effective sealing of the gate.
