W means write, cast;
C-CARBON STEEL carbon steel, A, b, and C indicate the strength value of the steel type from low to high.
WCA, WCB, WCC represents carbon steel, which has good welding performance and mechanical strength. ABC represents strength level, commonly used WCB. The pipe material corresponding to the WCB should be A106B, and the corresponding forging material is A105. Suitable for valves under conventional temperature and pressure.
WC6 is the casting of alloy steel. It has excellent high temperature resistance and antioxidant properties and is suitable for valves under high temperature and high pressure conditions.
The corresponding pipeline material is about A355 P11, and the forging part is A182 F11;
In addition, there is WC9, high -temperature alloy steel, corresponding to about about A355 P22, and the forging should correspond to A182 F22.
WC welded casting has high strength and hardness. Suitable for conventional industrial applications.
LCB/LCC (ASTM A352) Low -temperature carbon steel has low toughness and corrosion resistance. It is suitable for low -temperature ultra -low temperature applications, such as LPG natural gas (LNG).
Zfa Valves produce common WCB butterfly valves for customers all over the world with common temperature , and we also can produce LCC butterfly valves for Customers from North of Europe like Russia, Finland etc.
above is WCB China wafer butterfly valve and LCC China lug butterfly valve.

Note: 1) forged valve body material organization dense, not easy to have defects, structural dimensions are not subject to mold limitations, reliable pressure performance, mostly used for high-pressure, oxygen conditions, small diameter or other small batch of valves on the manufacture of high-temperature, high-pressure or low-temperature or special media under the choice of forging; casting is generally only applicable to medium and low-pressure, and is used for standardized molding of valves on the mass production.
(2) Material A351 CF3M and A182 F316L difference: the two standards correspond to the material are 316 stainless steel. CF3M indicates that the casting, commonly used as valve materials. Corresponding forging steel code is A182 F316L. ASTM A216 WCB is casting, and its forgings are A105; SS304 castings are A351-CF8, and forgings are A182-F304.
