1. When the valve size is small than DN1000, the working pressure is below PN16, and the working temperature is below 80℃, we usually recommend for concentric line butterfly valve as it will be much more economical.
2. Usually, when the diameter is larger than 1000, we recommend using an eccentric butterfly valve, so that the torque of the valve can be effectively reduced due to the eccentric angle of the valve, which is conducive to the opening and closing of the valve. In addition, the eccentric butterfly valve can reduce or eliminate the friction between the valve plate and the valve seat due to the eccentric angle, and improve the service life of the valve.
3. At the same time, the introduction of metal seats improves the temperature and pressure resistance of butterfly valves and broadens the application range of the valves. So the midline large diameter butterfly valve can usually only be used in low-pressure conditions such as water, while the eccentric butterfly valve can be used in environments with more complex working conditions.
